Mountain Man

Mountain Man

A Poem by Kenfucius69

Mountain Man

Searching for truth when it doesn't exist
Living life caught in a dragon's lair
Climbing the highest mountain in search of
Something

Sitting in a tree canopy
Feeling nothing but the breeze
Uno, dos, traverse
I'm you're lab rat, nurse

The axe forgets, you see
But the tree, comes back to haunt you
Inhale that tree
Nettles, and impeccable false glee

Hidden from the universe
Here's my next verse
But first, stop separation
The universe's need collaboration

The antiquated stories, have become unholy
Cologne sprayed down our throats
Holy moly macaroni and please!
This draconian tune we all once blew
Skewed

Sometimes, this chimera is better
Than my endeavor, dreams severed
Seraphim is Here!
But instead of cheers, we get tears
Fears, our lives are one-way mirrors
Shatter the glass
