Living in The Sun

Living in The Sun

A Poem by kenny

The warmth.
Is gone forever and ever.
stuck in this horrible world.
how can I forget?
the laughter that hit me so distant, but audible...
and now I suffer in silence.
You fail to hear my voice.
You say that you do.
But you truly truly don't.
The maggots that tear my flesh and consume my soul
their crawling bodies driving me insane.
but in the darkness they are many.
The sun so close
but you pull me in the wrong direction.
and yes I could walk into it if I wanted.
But it means nothing if we don't walk together.
something that just won't happen.
I've tried so hard,
time and time again.
and you say I've succeeded...
but then why is it always a no?
