Baron

Baron

A Poem by kenny

Grotesque in your power.
yet your kingdom lies empty.
far more hollow than mine.
and the thick black night,
 shall steal thine breath,
never to awaken from your slumber.
and I the tired warrior ever more wanders on.
as hard as I've needed to be.
but after all, isn't that what you were too Baron?
as hard as you needed to be.
You just didn't need a whole lot...
That makes me thankful my road has been long,
for it has kept me fit.
and now as strength fills my arms,
and battle awaits me,
I truly know I've beaten thee.
For when that small black globe falls into my palm,
you can never keep that from me.
Never again will you steal my prize.
and that, makes you powerless.
