What it's like to be in Love with Midnight

What it's like to be in Love with Midnight

A Poem by kera moondust
"

I went through and wrote poetry for those people closest to my heart. The problem it's either one REALLY long poem, or 12 very short poems. I think it's just too long to be one poem though so this is

"
Midnight is a boy
he has a gaze that makes my heart flutter
Lilac flowered breath
And his hair is perfumed with
Oil and gasoline
He has these lean muscles now that he didn't always have
And his eyes bind him to the earth
He's got no way with words
But I can still feel midnights grip on my back
And his hands once clasped in mine

Midnight knows 600 miles is just too far

I wish I knew that too, but I just don't
I love midnight with these deep crevices in my heart
it's a shame we'll never dive to the bottom of this worldly ocean together
            Again
