You are the ocean

                It appears deep

Vast

                And unexplored

                                Like your heart

 

But me,

                I am a scuba diver

And I have seen your

Murky depths

 

I fell in love with

                Your sharks

And deep chasms

Just as much as

                The angel fish in your

                                Eyes

 

I am the sky

                Changing colors

From night to day

Bathed in heavy atmosphere

And unattainable expanses

                Like my soul

 

But you,

                You’re an astronaut

You’ve traveled

Through the vast

Expanses on the

                                Outer rings

                Of my finger tips

 

You fell in love

                With solar storms

And

                Black holes

Just as much as

                Comet dust that lurks

                                Around my eyes

 

Together we are

                Horizon

The place

                Sky kisses earth

And astronomical sunsets and sunrises

Wash color over

                Sky

                And sea

 

You

And

Me
