No Light

A very dark time for me...

Darkness...overused,

Shadows...too old,

Standing in a fog so thick,

Skin blistering from the cold,

The fear that rises,

Causes the confidence to fall,

It lies there...dying,

Pleading for help,

As the rotting hands of anxiety,

Drags it into its premature burial,

Where it may see No Light...
