You got Me!

I will stay single until I meet that person who would make me realize that love is worth waiting for.

Romeo got Juliet,
But I miss you so bad though I haven't met you yet
Jack got Rose,
But maybe you're miles away and I hope we get to be close.

Aladdin got Jasmine,
But I wish that fate would allow us to be each other's king and queen.
Cupid got Psyche,
But I promise to wait in this lifetime and be my one and only.

Tarzan got Jane,
But it's jungle out there so rescue me then ease my pain
Adam got Eve,
But I'm praying that God will send you soon and never leave.

Antony got Cleopatra,
But without you is killing me and it's hard to live my mantra
Darcy got Elizabeth,
But I'm always be your rose, your daisy... your Baby's-breath.

Edward got Bella,
But running with the wolves to be with you is extra
Christian got Anastasia,
But if life gets darker and my heart is aching, be my anaesthesia.

Ron got Hermione,
But I can't feel the magic or the butterflies instead I feel empty
You got me,
But you don't know I exist so let's believe in destiny.

Author's Note

This is my first poem with different meter. I'm not used to it. But I'm glad I did it.
