Tired

I'm so tired of faking, lying, trying

I'm so tired of having to be me

Im never good enough

ANd I have plenty of scars to prove it

I'm so tired of hearing scream throughout the night

Only to wake up and realize they're my own

I'm so tired of people

The constant gossip and insults are exhausting

I'm so tired of having hope

Cause people constantly let me down

I'm so tired of having to say I'm fine

Cause I'm really not but no one can know

I'm so tired of breathing

Cause every breath hurts

Knowing that I'll never be what you want me to be

The expectations of others can be exhausting. Faking, lying and trying to make others feel better is also exhausting. An honest account of how tired you are with people and your current circumstances. I hope you find some comfort and real soon.

It's important for people to step back and remind themselves that they are not other people's words and at the end of the day, they only have themselves and shouldn't tire themselves out trying to live up to an unrealistic expectation.
