I choose to be happy and joyful
To be thankful and grateful
I choose to smile
To feel free

I choose to bear no hate
To not wait until it's too late
I choose to forgive
To be free

I choose to face my fears head on
Especially the ones that scared me a ton
I choose to persevere
To live free

I choose to forget the pain
To let go and gain
I choose to be me
Free
