vampire

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

Drip drip from your victim.

A whispered plea for you to stop.

But it’s too late your  tongue has already found the sweet liquid ruby dripping from there neck.

You lap up the already surfaced blood and in response their heart starts to pound.

The blood flows fast from the wound but you match its flowing pace.

Drinking from it as thought this will be your last drop.

Soon it is. Their dry to the bone.

Your eyes are wild and blood drips from your mouth.

You see me and strike. Your fangs sink in.

It will end to fast to soon.

I like it. I never get enough of anything vampire. A few errors with the word their, there, and they're.

Will add to my vampire file.

Interesting.

A nice, short little poem about something popular culture has in the limelight these days. Glad to see some actual blood sucking from the vampire side of things.
