Empty grave, empty me

Empty grave, empty me

A Poem by M.Kilani

My grave.. run to embrace me

No longer I want to be free

My grave from pain my soul spare

Feed me dust instead of air

Take me away from this hideous life

As I have no strength for a thousand knife

It doesn't matter die young or old

Though I'm burning I feel so cold

My grave.. run and embrace me

For my friends in need have left me

My grave. hold me closer as no one is here but me

She went away with him left and abandoned me

Can't change my self my grave .life is changing me

Dies who I am now .. and dies who they want me to be

I'm sorry but the punctuation and the struggle to find a rhyme is annoying, but that doesn't mean it's bad. You still presented that tangible need to meet an untimely death!

ok... the emotion mate is strong!
but the repetition in rhyme scheme isn't your best!
but... its ok!
be well mate!

Not bad. Reminds me of some of my own older writings... while the yearning for the grave may be a bit extreme, it vividly serves as a metaphor for burial, as we must do with some of the more painful memories...

I like it it's cool. And what author doesn't write about death sooner or latter. But I do love the expressions you write in your writing. They're always so fantastic. Good job!

A longing for death could mean a broken self-defeated soul.
One of the things i like in this poem is the "love" for death portrayed here. A very melancholic "love" =)

We can fall into a grave of depression and desire to be left alone. But it isn't that easy. Better to fight and be strong then give in to a lonely grave. A powerful poem with a sad story. A excellent poem.
