The Ride!

 

When you take a look at where you have been and where you are going?

Do you think you are going in circles?

Get off the ride!

I have been through what I consider to be a very bad ride?

I have been raped of innocence and love more times, than even I thought possible?

When you find your mind drifting in horrible places?

Get off the ride!

I know out there somewhere LOVE is real?

This is a ride I want to ride?

Until then, I will get on and off the ride of life?

I will continue to breath and take in everything I can touch, taste, smell and live?

The first thing that caught my eye was "LOVE is real?" That alone made me want to read the poem besides the title. I don't really understand the question marks ending every sentence. But all in all this is a great poem! "I will continue to breath and take in everything I can touch, taste, smell and live?" My favorite line :)
