A Poem by Daydreamer

Nothing lasts forever, nothing stays the same.. Or do they?

Distance transforms,
Best friends into strangers.
Time heals old wounds.
Yet unexpected occurrences trigger,
Emotions to flood back.
All proof that people change
In accordance to Nature.
For not even stone can permanently,
Cast itself against the rocks.
While water upholds,
Its own set of contradictions.
If all these components of life,
Are unable to remain the same forever,
How can something so unforeseen,
Like Love be the only constant?

physical realities age and change and disappear....true love finds a permanence even in its own contradictions...

great imagery in this one...did you mean "unexpected occurrences trigger" and "its own set"?

what is unexpected certainly can maintain...and last...

nicely done.

Thank you dear friend, Your edits are always appreciated!
4.6 billion years... dust to love...worth the wait... don't you think?
Well I like this pondering stuff, maybe loneliness in a crowded street or on a packed train car
deep in the hungry bowels of a homeless forsaken soul lies the answer to your quest...

love is the food of our universe taste the Zen...
