Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope

A Poem by Daydreamer

I made myself small
So I wouldn’t stand out
I hated being different
Forced to decide,
Between who I was
Because they saw me in pieces

Until one day
I discovered my fullness
I began to walk in my truth
And in his image

I am product of a dream realized,
A love that knows
No boundaries....

That word ' kaleidoscope ' - unless have I misunderstandd, sums up the way a human is made by self through that long process of living one's life. Discovering flaws and favours, discovering the light and its ever-lasting guidance. Your 'dream realized' is such a wonderfully descriptive phrase.

We are snippets and snatches of an ever-descriptive palette that alters according to how it is used. Perhaps.

we have to love ourselves first before others may feel the same...that is an old saying, but it is relevant...
dreams are what we make them, and what we do with them...it is always up to us...to (as you put it so eloquently) discover our fullness.
