My love

My knees start to weaken
At the first sight of your face
My heart starts to melt
At the thought of your embrace

Your love flows through me
Like a river flows down its path
Your kiss lifts me up so high
I could probably fall to my death

I really wish that
When I looked into your eyes I could see
Exactly how

Author's Note

Sorry If the poem is bad, I wrote it when I was 7 which was 10 years ago. I am trying to make it better without rewriting it. After im done working on it I might turn it into a song if I have time to mess around with my guitar. Made it a litle better I guess so comment peeps.

Nicely written, good flow and rhythm. The structure could use a little work but otherwise it's very expressive and emotional. I enjoyed the first stanza the most and the imagery in the second stanza is rather nice. Those are my favorite parts of this poem I think, it's mainly after those two that structure begins to weaken.
