Destruction of life

Why is life allways this way,
lots of people who have lost their way,
off the path of given life,
through the fields of everlasting plight,
why cant they just follow the light,
to the garden of enchanting coruscation,
where there are no wars to be won,
or fights to be fought,
where life flows freely like the clouds in the sky,
but people choose the path of perishment,
look at us now,
we near destruction,
for life is near expiration,
we should all perish in eternal ruination.
