My Heartfelt Vow

My partner is going through a rough time currently- I wanted to express to her that I'm with her through thick and thin, so I wrote this. I plan to send her this also.

I'll be by your side when the sun shines bright
And the seas are calm and clear.
Whenever you feel the warmth of the light,
You'll know in your heart, I'm here.

I'll be right beside you when the night falls,
While you're drifting off to sleep.
In your dreams I'll hold you close, love
As the hours, they slowly creep.

I'll stay by you when the rain falls down
And shelter you from its downpour.
I'd protect you from feeling each cold drop,
Until the sky cannot cry anymore.

I'll stand by you through the harshest storms,
As hurricanes and tornados blow.
You will never have to brave anything alone.
Wherever you go, I'll follow.

I'll be at your side through thick and thin,
Through the good and the bad, bring it on.
For this, my darling and gorgeous girl,
Is what it means when two hearts beat as one.
