Soldiers

 

Early in the morning soldiers stand in formation

 

dressed in well pressed BDUs and highly shined combat boots.

 

Who's willing and able to salute, who's ready, and equiped for battle

 

with kelvar, canteen, and M16.

 

Waiting for the command of forward march

 

moving forward as one unified unit up on your left, your right.

 

Front line soldiers is who we be

 

moving swiftly in a convoy of HMVs.

 

In pursuit of our enemies of this great country

 

by land, air, and the deep blue sea.

 

The Army, AirForce, and the Navy fighting together to

 

protect our liberty.

 

So we salut you Sir, and Ma'am and thank you for

 

your time and service away from you family.

 

We pray that the grace of God would protect

 

you and keep you safe.
