Locked Up

When upset comes and upset goes,
The chest of emotions overflows
Locked up tight when you're upset
I keep all my feelings aside

Foolish it may be,
But definitely happening.

If I can put aside all my upset when you need me.
Why can't you do the same for me?

Is your emotions the only one which matter?
Does mine mean nothing at all to you?

The chest opens, the chest closes
The chest's owner locks up in doses

She feels what she chooses to feel,
Hide all else and seal
What she feels is just for you
What you feel....is just for you.

This is a great write. I absolutely adore the last two lines. the repetition is more than powerful. but the whole poem is amazing
