Darkness is a mystery,

Unfortunite events may happen as,

the darkness amerges for the night,

You can hear the faintest noise,

of a girl screaming for help,

No one can hear you in the darkness,

no matter on how loud you scream,

SCREAM,

twigs breaking from a person running over it,

Why can't anyone hear you,

that's the mystery of the darkness.

This isn't bad for a first poem. :-) I think it has a lot of potential. Watch your spelling though. While I love the imagery, I am not sure what the metaphor is exactly. Is this about abuse? A scene from a horror movie? About loss of voice? I suggest playing with the poem perhaps and have some fun with it.
