Blanca (Edit)

This is my improved version of my earlier poem, Blanca.

She sat down to paint a picture,

Of all the things that could fix her,

She tries to make her thoughts clear

on her cheek a single tear

She stares at the blank canvas before her

as her eyes begin to blur

She wonders when they will finally see

How broken she has come to be.
