Broken Mirror

Broken Mirror

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

Come back with tomorrow's faith

in the unknown.

Turn away from the light and look into

eyes of your shadow.

You found me

in that broken mirror again.

I am waiting for your modern dream

that will save you from the heart.

Look away your insistent gaze,

become the silence I want to destroy

with one sleepy scream.

Match your tears to my smile.

Give me a hand, let it chase emptiness

out of my mind.

Promise one last time

that it's not worth reviving dead dreams.
