Return of the Stars

Return of the Stars

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

What we call memory

does not always end

with the return of the stars.

What does not belong to us

finds solace in thoughts

that were born in sleepless longing.

Found desires

do not succumb to tears.

Stray silence takes a trip

around life.

Instead of looking for new dreams,

take care of fantasy,

renounce the brightest morning.

Kiss my fear goodbye,

learn to distinguish body

from senses.

Do not wait for pain,

sell your painful indifference.
