Invisible Hope

Invisible Hope

A Poem by Katarzyna Anna Koziorowska

I am looking for these sad words

that will not bring empty tears.

I am looking for such dreams

I did not deserve,

although I tried so hard to love.

Sinister memories lurk between

heaven and earth,

love robbed of loneliness.

I am seeking a signpost

among the stars that will die

with this year's season.

I revel in the sky in your mouth,

I expect salvation in a roadside puddle.

There is not a bit of shadow in you

that would bring a more

beautiful past, unhealed tears.

Feel the stigma of ubiquitous time

on your skin, find invisible hope

among the garbage.
