Your Silence

Your silence rings out

to all who seeks to hurt you.

Everything that you've stood for,

suddenly shatters and you can see

your failure reflecting back at you through the shards.

You cast away your demented dreams,

only for the Shadows to grab a hold of them

and use them as weapons.

And when you thought you've gone and lost your way,

a crack of light beings shining through.

Author's Note

I really did not know how to go about it with this poem. I feel like it was a bunch of different thoughts unrelated to each other mashed into one.

If anyone's got any ideas, I'm open.
