So I wrote this in the car after I watched the movie The Vow for the first time. Channing Tatum <3 Anyways, hope you like it! The hidden message is: Leo <3

Somehow

We were stuck together like glue,

When Cupid's arrow,

Struck me in the heart,

Nothing was better,

Than you and me,

And nothing could tear us apart,

I was falling head over heals,

And you were falling,

Right into my heart

I know you say we're over,

I know you say we're done,

But I know that you still love me,

I know we said we'd never be apart,

But it all is ending now,

And I know I can't live without you,

And without a doubt I know,

I'll find my way back to you somehow

I vowed to always love you,

For better or for worse,

Everything I said was true,

And I swear I loved you first,

Never thought I'd see you disappear,

And forget all that we had,

It fills my heart with fear,

Cuz will you ever,

Learn to love me again

I know you say we're over,

I know you say we're done,

But I know that you still love me,

I know we said we'd never be apart,

But it all is ending now,

And I know I can't live without you,

And without a doubt I know,

I'll find my way back to you somehow

And then one day,

I decided to go back,

To our favorite place,

Just for old times sake,

That's when I see you standing there,

Just as beautiful as you used to be,

You give me a sideways smile,

And make your way over to me,

You looked into my heart and said

I know I said we're over,

I know I said we're done,

But I know that I still love you,

I know we said we'd never be apart,

And I want us back together now,

And I know I can't live without you,

And without a doubt I know,

I hope you can take me back somehow <3

Author's Note

So in February I went to see The Vow and I loved it! When I got back in the car I couldn't stop thinking about it and I knew I needed to take out my phone and write. I started imagining how horrible it must have been for Leo, or in real life, Kim, to have to have dealt with that entire thing. To be so in love with each other in a moment and the next moment have it ripped out from underneath you. If the person you loved, suddenly just forgot their feelings for you, and could never remember them again. I don't know how I would survive. So I wrote this song, about how it's like to be so in love with someone until one day they just declared that they could never feel the same way again, but you knew deep down that there was still a part of them that would always hold those feelings. There would always be a part of them that still held your heart. And then just how scary it is, to think about how you will never experience those memories again. Until there comes an unbelievable day, like in the movie, when after you spent so much time without them in your life, when you see them for the first time. How you see them and wonder how you survived so long without them. But then soon realize that they were thinking the same thing. I just could never imagine this happening to me. So that's why I wrote it, to put myself in this story and write down what I was thinking. Anyway! I hope you like it! :)

Krista, all of your songs I can totally relate to and makes me cry like a baby! Haha. Your way with words is so beautiful and soo real. You know what I mean? I did watch The Vow but it was back when it came out around February for my birthday with all of my best friends. It was my all-time favorite movie and it'd make any person of any gender tear up a little. It'd hurt me if I was married to a person then got in a wreck, and they didn't remember me. But if I truly loved them I would work as hard as Leo (Channing Tatum) did to get her back. Great job again! :D
