a lullaby for my little girl.. i dont really know why i'm posting it since it's her's other than to express my love for her to anyone willing to read

 

lilijene you are my jelly bean

you are the reason why my life is just so grand

lilijene you are my life my love

you are an angel that God sent me from above

 

everyday i thank the stars the skies

for lettin me look into those beautiful eyes

youre the most special thing that'll ever happen to me

and you'll never know how much you mean to me

This is very sweet and made me smile. I wrote one for my daughter that was very personal as well, and I wasn't sure why I posted it either. And even though it's a terrible poem written by a talentless Dr. Seuss wannabe with no talent for poetry, it remains my most popular viewed and commented piece. Weird. I guess readers just love to see that connection between a parent and child. Just like I loved seeing this one.
