Dedicated Creation

Dedicated Creation

A Poem by Krst Jaggar
"

Love poem with a little more spunk

"

The sun may fall,
And the Earth may crumble,
But we’ll still spend,
Our afternoons with,
Coffee spoons and,
A bit of,
 Conversation.

Mix your guitar,
And my slice of lime,
We’ll make it through,
Those hard times,
With just a little,
 Motivation.

A picket fence,
Seems pretty nice,
Out west we’ll live,
Where it’s open wide,
With out too much,
Hesitation.

Or maybe bright lights,
Are more our style,
We’ll ride the subways,
And wear designers,
Having it all,
With just some,
Genuine ambition.

Doesn’t matter where,
As long as it’s now,
Just you and I,
Never asking how…
Or why…

So, Study my emerald,
Deep green eyes,
And you try to tell me,
You don’t want it too,
‘Cause, baby, this takes minimal,
Concentration.

I'm rather proud of this piece. It's one of my best. It took me a good couple hours to write and I must say that the final product is stellar. Written on Aug. 31, 2006.

Very nice, I liked the flow and how you opened and closed it. It was like reading a book in a poem. Well done.
