Surrounded by people. Never felt so alone.

Smiles are abstract. Happiness is obscure.

A friendly greet goes unnocited. A happy song, inaudible.  

Far away I see lightning, and hear thunder roll in.  

Always in touch, never at an arms reach.

Life brings challenges, with much to teach.

Distance is our lesson, for which we learn to share 

Simple jokes made us laugh. Moments we will never forget.
