My Love

We lay here on the bed with the world

staying still while we kiss. Our lips touch and I

can feel the warmth from your lips to mine. You

are the only one I want.

 

I dream of you each night.

I dream that I see you but I can't touch you

at all each time I get close to you, you just

keep on getting farther away

from me.

 

I need you to hold me close to your heart and

never let me go.

My soul is free for your loving.

You are my world and my soul.

"You are a blessing to have." I think in my head.

You keep me going like my music does, I need my

music, like I need you.

You are my world and my soul.

The moments I live for now are for you.

 

I see you asleep one night and I kiss your lips softly

and say I love you.

I put my head back on my pillow and try to go

back to sleep.

Finally I'm about to go back to sleep then I

hear you say I love you too!

I look at you than we hug and we fall fast to sleep holding each other.

Nice. I think that this is what we all want to feel someday. And feel it without any doubts about that other person... no doubts that you'll be betrayed. Well.... that's what I found in your poem my friend. The whole idea of giving yourself to someone with never ending trust.
I like it.
