Obedience or Submission

Obedience to god,

Obedience to tyranny,

Obedience to false hope,

Obedience to autocracy,

Obedience to captivity,

Obedience to limitation,

Obedience to uniformity.

And if you don't obey that,

You Submit.

Submission to hatred,

Submission to intolerance,

Submission to distrust,

Submission to prejudice,

Submission to constant argument,

Submission to a revelation of others' stupidity.

So don't be smart,

Don't be logical,

Don't be an atheist,

Don't let them trample you.

Just believe what everyone else does,

Just be normal,

Just be stupid,

Just act like there's no issue,

Just act like there's no flaw,

Just act like there's no lies in the world,

Just act like the world is one big, happy place,

In short, just be American.
