Feel Me

Feel Me

A Poem by LA Lorena

I sense and feel

a presence on the page

my font vibrates

with the touch

of those eyes

lines and spaces

tingle

 echo hollowness

and once again

I lay naked and exposed to you

open and willing

to be taken inch by inch

slowly and languorously

splay innermost folds

of my mind

tease with fingers deft

and plunge

 slick depth

to my hardened core

fill me with your need

and I'll give to you my own

my longing is for your words

whilst others seek

to decorate with diamonds

drench me in pearls

of your heart's pen

let the words

roll off your captive tongue

and free your spirit

to feel me

touch me

know me

my release

shall be pleasure doubled

when shared

betwixt two

Most readers don't seem to realize how extremely intelligent you are. I've noticed because I consider high intelligence to be a threat to my existence.
Why, you ask? Couldn't a very smart individual be a valuable friend?
Unfortunately, such persons are, invariably, far too perceptive to socialize with the likes of me. Hence, my perceived possible contention.
Will now try to impress you with the quality of my intellect: This piece has everything to do with a deep and abiding love for words, and little--if anything--to do with an arousing description of the sex act.
How come I now feel more like a big liar than a big brain?

I see in this poem and your Poet, Exposed a common theme that I relate to. the sensuality of words and writing. the capability of such seduction and feelings very real and deep. you express it so well here. beautiful work.

I appreciate the arrangement and the content of the poem, the imagery is depicted well, so when read we can feel the sensation. well done. Lorena.

The words reach further than skin deep...they are more than tattoos...they are roadmaps to the heart. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for sharing your gift.

this is a good out of the box experience for you, I love it, the flow the stumbling images in left a lone stanzas. As far as I can tell, you enjoy the free pleasure verse, keep it up and those frames of structure you desire in your poetry, well will fall away to open space and what is better to an artist but open space to cover with unedited desire...great piece

Hi La Lorena, a lovely, warm, sensual piece. Languorously is such a splendid expressive word that says it all!

There is such a soft sensuousness to your prose that makes me want to just curl up with an entire book of it, with a glass of wine and a fire crackling in the background...and I don't know if you've gathered, but I am not a sucker for pretty prose...so you know I mean what I say when I say I loved this. Thank you so much for sharing it...

Damn, my writings did all that? I'm gonna' tell Myrna, maybe she'll read more. Do you get a special thrill out of commas and semi-colons? Paragraphs of passion, phrases of ecstacy. Loved it. Makes me want to write more. Maybe it's contagious.
