Behind The Mask

Behind that mask is a beautiful face. But why is it sad, no clue not a trace.

I'm fine she says,

All smiles you believe.

But behind that smile,

Her soul, it grieves.

Behind the mask,

Is a beautiful face.

But why is it so sad,

No clue, not a trace.

At home she's harassed,

At school its bullying.

Kicking and punching,

Name calling and teasing.

But no one knows this,

Not even her friends.

But why would they know,

There'e none to begin.

Everyone ignores her,

Doesn't know that she's there.

Because she always in the shadows,

Never out anywhere.

Behind the mask,

Is at beautiful face.

But why is it so sad,

No clue, not a trace.
