A Poem by L.M.Warde

I am darkness,
and I am light.
I am the nightmares in your dreams tonight.

I am everyone you'll ever know,
and I am nothing, no-one, not at all.
I am the voice that liners in the hall.

I am what builds you up,
and breaks you down.
I am the ever present frown.

I'm in your head,
and all around.
I'm what binds you to the ground.

I am your goodness,
and your hate.
I'm what tells you it's too late.

Go to bed now,
shut your eyes,
so I can fill your head with vicious lies.

Just a little piece that popped into my mind one afternoon.

This photo is from Deviant art and is not a work of my own. I take no credit for the wicked design.
