Married Man

Married Man

A Poem by LaDonnaMarie

I'm given time to think, taking in all the possibilities.

"It's your call, stay or go." He says to me.

But he already knows that:

I have fallen in love with a married man,

I've fallen in love, please take my hand.

I'll wait a million years just to see you again.

I've lost my way and broken all my rules

But you took me away from these deep delta blues,

muddy waters has no clue, what it is to dream a dream of you.

It may be wrong to love such an untouchable soul, but baby:

i've fallen in love with a married man. I've fallen in love.

it's going to be a windy road cause honey, I've fallen in love and love has no rules,

it takes no mercy on who it may choose. It's been twenty years of waiting for you.

So I'll bow down and pay my dues because baby, I've fallen in love with you.

My heart is your puppet, you can make it, move, let it stand still, or wait for you.I've fallen in love with a married man, I think of you and I walking hand in hand with no fear or demand. Baby we are samuri and this is our land.

I'll wait forever for one more chance.
