A Story by Lady Celery

A 100-word story about... something bad.

My first reaction was to scream and run away. It seemed so natural, I couldn’t help myself. Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to solve the problem.

“Honey, there’s a cockroach in the house,” I announced loudly. That day, though, he was out playing pool with his friends.

Well, now the only thing left to do is panic and make a bad decision.

I ran into the kitchen and grabbed my broom. I charged back into the living room, where the roach was waiting.

I swung at it and missed. Then, I stepped forward.

Now it’s on the bottom of my shoe.

I like the poem and I agree. The cockroaches breed and take over very quickly. Make us know fear and bad possibilities. A good ending to the entertaining poetry.

This was the cutest thing I've read in a while! I especially loved the line, "Well, now the only thing left to do is panic and make a bad decision." Very funny! It's definitely not easy to create a story in such few words, but you managed to do so very well. Great job!

I pretty much do the exact same thing :)

Sounds like my girlfriend, who screams, cries, and laughs simultaneously while shouting for me to "kill it! Kill it!" But I never do, I always let it go outside,

This made me laugh. This is excellent. No one like cockroaches. A great story with so few words.
