Insomnia

Insomnia

A Poem by crystallized illusions
"

Dear Capricorn.

"
There is a  p l a g u e  upon my mind.

The trace of a kiss can still be found upon my lips.

The brush of a soft cheek beneath my grasp
brings my fingers still to tingle.

The feeling of his breath against my face remains.

The smell of him envelopes me still.

The sound of his voice still rumbles in my chest.

His chestnut gaze melts into my memory
like chocolate on a hot day.

He is warm,
he feels like home.

My eyes gaze blankly towards a bare ceiling.
They close.

He smiles.
He has wolf-teeth.

When the mind cannot rest all we can do is feed the wolf. This is a beautiful piece about insomnia.
