Two Car Heart

Two Car Heart

Conformist Free Zone... see what you will and feel free to tell!

Two Car Heart
by Tricia Pattinson

Squeeze yourself in
We were taught what make and model

Where there's barely room for self
And all that we might want

Scratching and dinging
We nick each other a lot

Until we learned we could build
A heart so big and wide

With many levels high
And many levels deep

Where there is space a plenty
For all and the stuff we need

Very interesting. Never quite heard it put like that before. Very well done. Now you got me thinking of cars and people trying to squeeze into them and trying to do things.....well I'll stop there. This was a very good read. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you kindly.
There is such complexity here. I love your poems because they seem to show more depth every time I read them.
