We mark life by years... how do those years mark us?

It's been almost two years

Since you walked away.

Till this day when I wake,

I still call your name.

 

It´s been ten years today

Since I left my home place.

Till this day I still yearn

To have a home again.

 

It's been almost three years

Since we spoke on the phone like friends

Till this day I still dont know

How to do that again

 

It's been twelve years

Since I left and went to France

Till this day I still believe

That's when I started to change.

 

It´s been almost a year

Since I graduated from my long BA

Till this day I still feel

I've done nothing but fail.

 

It's been twenty-five years

Since was to this world born

Till this day I think

I've nothing to show.

 

It's been....I dont know how long

Since all I want is to be loved

Till this day I doubt

That day will come.

 

It's been a few months

Since I'm back in this show

Till this day I wonder

When will I fully go out and enjoy?

 

It's been a few weeks

Since I met you

To this day already

I care about you.

 

It's been already four hours

I should have been dreaming and,

At three in the morning I still wonder

When will I fall asleep?

A longer than usual from you, but the quality is still high. To the technical side have only one tiny point: it's generally better to write numbers in word form. You really planned this up well with stanzas.
I love how you play with the different times. Confusing a bit, but more enjoyable when you figure out how it works. It's a sad poem and sadly I could relate to few stanzas there, but that's life! Have to keep moving forward! Bring it on!
