The Mind's Cry.

The Mind's Cry.

A Poem by Larul
"

"If you were lucky."

"

My, how my mind cries out for you.

A place you thought you could’ve escaped,

If you were lucky enough, and fortune bought your grave.

Don’t play coy, we all know it well.

About you and your petty mind games.

As for yours-

It’s full of twist and turns more complex than a woman’s heart.

I can say, “If something seems complex- it’s most likely something simple.”

But you have yet to counteract my rebuttal.

I’ll meet you at your heart’s heart.

I’ll just have to walk this sick and twisted path doused in sadness to make me slip up.
