The Guilty King

I wanted to finish the story Guilty Crown never did. I still cry to GC Departures, Cheer for Shu in My Dearest, and Learn to take my regrets with me in The Everlasting Guilty Crown. Ty Inori Yuzuriha

This is a story about a king named Pal.

Pal was a happy and kind king who tried to save everyone

Pal married the girl of his dream. A woman named Sal.

Pal tried his best when all is said and done.

His friend named Envy wanted it all.

Envy asked Pal for troops and Pal said yes.

Envy asked Pal for his Nobles, to help build a hall.

Envy asked Pal for his wife and that hurts Pal's chest.

His wife refused Envy and Pal felt relief.

Sal saw Envy's twisted heart and knew of his plan.

Sal stayed by Pal. Together with their belief.

Sal smiled for Pal as he held his new child in his hand.

His enemy named Envy with the intention of harm.

Pal's troops raised their weapons for battle.

Pal's Nobles had paid for their arms.

Pal told Sal to live happily wherever she traveled.

He never cursed at his former friends as he dies.

Pal only smiled as Salvation saved Hope. His greatest prize.

This is a simple and lovely poem. I really liked it, it was so sad that he died in the end. Overall it was so entertaining. I enjoyed the style you wrote it in.

Yea its a tough call to make but it what defines some individuals like myself. Some choose friends for life while others put their family first and if we are lucky get to keep both.

I have never read the Guilty Crown before, so some of this was lost on me, but I still really like this piece. I love how it personifies envy, and the narrative form it takes is perfect. Great job! :)
