Madame Butterfly

Madame Butterfly

A Poem by Lastica-chan
"

What chains us can kill us...that is, if you try to break free.

"

Flying freely, the glass cage has been shattered

The trauma etched in your soul

 I want to know...secrets unspoken

Teach me to fly...give me my wings

Graceful sanction of Madame Butterfly

Fluid wings, their colors burn bright

The borders of real and fantasy erased

I need to see...trickery unmastered

Let me try...to drive out the grey

Ancient realm of Madame Butterfly

Torn apart, forced into new chains

Escape can never be long lived

I have to assume...hope is abandoned

Depend on me...to break the ties No?

Goodbye forever dear Madame Butterfly

Etto...its kind of short, but I wrote this after reading the second volume of Godchild. Originally I wanted this to have a more Kochoran-ish feel, but tell met how you interpret it^^

i think its bout how someone watched their friend escape and become free from something, maybe like society, and how the one watching wanted to escape too. Then the friend was captured again, maybe because the other was jealous, and then the butterfly died? lol, that's how I kinda view it ^^ probably interpretated it wrong though. need to reread Godchild... XD
