Still me

Still me

A Poem by Laura Kate

Something I often asked myself
was if this person
of mine
was still me.

Still me.
What a funny question to ask yourself.
And from who exactly,
was I hoping
to hear the answer?

that is my greatest fear I lived for a very long time not being me it happens slowly small bits of self get discarded in conformity and over time these bits end up as chunks and before you know it you don't know you anymore:) it took a complete stranger to remind me who I am and to smile again. This poem is very special to me I am so glad I happened upon it!
