Awakening

Awakening

A Poem by Laura Kate

Hands tap
    the empty drum
awakening
forbidden vibrations
   buried deep
     below dormant waters
    hidden clues
    forgotten hues
rising to your beat

I expected to read about a nun and a toy, brought secretly, from Ann Summers ! Sister Fru Strated, a German lady in her mid twenties forced into religion by an over strict father and mother, who, having only having had sex once in her life( Fru the result) decided it to be to debauched an act, and so gave over her life to God.
Was I close ?

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts Paul.
Laura.
This ancient jungle drumbeat, primordial, primeval, resonates deep within the human psyche and triggers sexual awakenings ...

Mystic and marvellous brevity dear poet!

hey that's resonance... every drum has its own special tone range and within that range is a sweet spot where the resonance beats a refrain from yours like a pair of great acapella singers:)
