Justice

Justice

A Poem by Laura Kate

Tell me there’s a reason,

tell me there is something

it was all building up to.

Say that It's not over.

say it will be worth it -

it's your turn to explain.

If it doesn’t matter what’s true,

just tell me there was a reason

for all I did for you.

If it doesn’t matter what’s true,

just tell me there was a reason

for all that we went through.

sometimes there is no justice or explanation for why one side or the other does something to destroy a relationship....
and we don't want to feel that we wasted all our time and emotion...but sometimes we just do...

This poem is beautifully written. I enjoyed every line. I could feel every line. Short and sweet but the point easily comes across.
