We Have the Power

I believe
that despite all the rapists and murderers 
and everyone else with evil thoughts
everyone was born with good intentions
we were created under the impression
that we would look after this world
by a God who took 6 whole days
making it for us 
and this is how we thank Him
murder, rape, racism
bullying, wars, communism
we have the power inside of us to do great things 
to make the impossible happen
but it's a sad fact that some of us get blinded by the power
by the fact that we can do anything we desire
but all it takes
is for someone to use their power for good
to raise their voice
and shout "enough is enough!"
it's time that we stopped waiting on the sidelines
for something to happen to make this all alright
this world that we live in is going up in flames
we can't just sit back and watch it get ruined
and I have no idea whether or not this will make a difference
but I am making a stand with this poem.

I here you, this world can be a horrible place, filled with horrible people. But all it takes is the few good people left in this world, to do a few good things, at least it makes this world a little bit of a better place.
