A Poem About Love

He'd been meaning to say it since that first day
From that day he knew it was true
He's told her everything
You're amazing
You’re my sun on a rainy day
You're beautiful
I like you
I can't live with out you
You're perfect
You're my Juliet
You are always gorgeous
I only feel complete with you
Yet that meant nothing to her
None of those were the words she needed
It wasn't I like you
Or you make me smile
It wasn't those that she needed
So she lay with him on that final night
He kissed her from head to toe
She rested her head on his stomach
He kissed her lips
She kissed him back
It was nothing though
It wasn't truly kissing
The passion was gone
He pulled her close
Whispered in her ear
The only thing she needed to hear
"I love you, baby doll"
