Darkness Enveloping Light

How do you interpret this poem?

Ambiguous face,

Ambiguous place.

Through the winding path,

Drowning in puddles of wrath.

Living in the natural bleakness,

Dying from its weakness.

Seeing far into the dark;

Landscape frames draw stark.

When time has faded to grey,

The light has gone away.

I instantly imagine a dark cloudy day in a busy city as someone is "dying from its weakness" and "drowning in puddles of wrath". Possibly how someone feels in their job from day to day in the city. Really great work, I see many interpretations for this poem. You really used rhyme to perfection and it added to rather than took away from the poem. Great job!

You might identify this poem as a dream; that's what it feels like. You have a great imagination and come up with some interesting word combinations.
