I can't swim

I can't swim

A Poem by LeAnn
"

It can never hurt to try

"
I feel like I'm drowning
Lost in the depths of the vast ocean
I can't swim

I flail around
begging for help
someone help me not drown

You sit and watch
I can't blame you
It's hard to save someone while drowning

You try to swim upwards towards the light
you encourage me to do the same
I can't swim

You smile down at me
You make me laugh
I don't want to be left behind

Yes, I can't swim
But I sure as hell can try to

I can't swim either. I think it's because they think I'm a witch. Something like that? Anyways, I rather enjoyed this. Can I ask you something?

Is swimming a metaphor? You are truly a goddess with your words. I have an irrational fear of water. Some say it's because of a spiritual reason...is it that way for you?
