I've come to realize

Life isn't what it seems

There’s the good, the bad

Don’t forget the in-betweens

 

Some situation aren't easy

But you've got to be strong

Because if not, things become harder

And that’s not something you want.

 

People come and go in life

But that’s not what it’s about

It’s about the people who stay, right?

Yeah… Right by your side.

 

When something knocks you down

You learn a few things

You learn what sticking together really is

You’ll notice who’s there and who isn't

But when you pull yourself out,

You’ll make a lot of people proud.

 

Don’t hide behind a smile..

Find a way to make that smile real

If it means something to you..

You’ll find away..

If not, you’ll just find an excuse.

You’ll work in life

Some work hard, some work easy

But people work a million dollars

Just to get a little happiness.

 

Life isn't about the money

It’s not about the people

It’s not even about the things around you,

Life about doing what you want

To make yourself happy.

Good wisdom in your words. I tell people. Make time for things you enjoy. Work is part of life. We need a place to live and food. Money is necessary. Money without fun, friendship and travel is worthless. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
